Definitely go there for the view. Meals are lovely and the staff all pretty nice.. Not the best for families.
Arguably the best pub in Australia,I'm not arguing, I love it ! Great food, awesome service, terrific views. If it wasn't for all those tourists it'd be a quiet life..
Do not recommend. Firstly our order of roast of the day x1, fish & chips x3 and chicken schnitzel x2 took over an hour for us to receive. However prior to this we asked about when we would receive our meals since others behind us had already received theirs the staff were arrogant and ignored us and blew us off. You would then expect it to be a great meal for an hour wait but it was cold. Definitely wont go back again.
View is beautiful. Burger & chips and fish & chips ordered. Food incredibly slow arriving and not worth wait. Eat at Backpackers where food is great and fast. You might not have the view but you will get a real size meat patty on your burger.
We expected the room to be 3 star. At the price, and with that glorious view it was never going to be the Ritz. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was quiet, even on band night. There are a couple of easy fix maintenance issues but nothing that mattered to us. We enjoyed our stay.
