Overrated... Too expensive for what it is (we booked a double room). I was at the YHA Yamba a couple of years ago and I loved it. I wanted to come back, I noticed that the price were much higher but decided to come back anyway. I am so disappointed... The room was not very clean, towels were full of yellow spots. We were there 3 nights and a girl came in the room while we were there to pass the vacuum cleaner and just passed it here and there even though our luggages were on the floor and our food bags and everything... Seemed like they just clean quickly and don't wait the departure of guests. And Shane Tour was not what it was. We did almost nothing and Shane spoke a lot and a lot! He told us about the good old Shane Tour but there was no highlights anymore. Not worth it. Go directly at Byron Bay!
Super cosy and chilled hostel, the only one in town (in a good way). Dont miss Shanes tour, the man is a total legend!
Great staff, super fun atmosphere. Probably the best hostel on the east coast. Ill be back!
The best hostel in Yamba, also the only hostel in Yamba I think. Nonetheless, this hostel has nice dorms of all sizes and some private rooms. The restaurant and bar on the ground floor is also frequented by locals, so the vibe is pretty sweet.Well equipped kitchen and a nice rooftop area.
Fantastic food and service. Staff were lovely and helpful even rushed through a meal when we forgot to order it. Prices are reasonable. Eat there every time we are in town.
