Heaven Recording Studios(aka Paul Agar) has been our choice of studio for some years. We have just completed our second album with the huge help and expertise that Paul and his studio have given i.e. state-of-the-art soundproof rooms, a large choice of quality mics, and instruments, years of production skills in Paul, and his no-fuss, happy, can-do attitude. Having taught video and audio production for years, there seems to be nothing he can't help with. On behalf of FDZ, a group of 5 young, enthusiastic and raw talented musicians from the Clarence Valley. I must commend Paul Agar on his approach and patience. He took a drummer who hadn't ever used a "click" track from a slight wander to a sharp master in only a few takes. He enabled the Bass player to drive through the layers. The 2 interchangeable guitarists to swap seamlessly and play some wicked riffs, and the lead vocalist to push through some tough sessions. He was guiding but not pushy, gave advice without dictating and brought together talents to produce an EP and a full album. One track from the full album was nominated in the 2013 Independent Music Awards (alternative) and FDZ walked the Red Carpet as a result. The studio, equipment, atmosphere and production are conducive to getting the best results and value for money. If you believe you have what it takes, Heaven Studios will be able to capture it for you.
Paul is one of those special people who is a master magician! Not only at the desk mixing and recording but as a person of great and genuine love for what he does and who he is recording!!He is efficient and the stunning end result is achieved with speed and respect for the work as it progresses.He is a awesome musician as well and I think that that helps make Paul a must as an engineer.
