After dismissive assurances that the shop could repair a flat on a large diameter forged rim without damaging it (don't you worry about that); it turns out they couldn't. The inner rim was scratched and gouged to the point it looks like the operator was just careless. The first such occurrence in ten individual tyre changes on this set of rims with two other tyre centres with no problems. When questioned about the damage, the excuse was that such a large rim was difficult and beyond the normal for the equipment at hand. Pity that wasn't admitted in the first place, I would have taken it somewhere else.
